A birthstone (or birthday stone) is gemstones with magical properties, especially to their relationship with the signs of zodiac, day of birth, month of birth. Birthstones are worn in a form of personal jewelry and mostly in form of a ring. Traditionally each stone has specific properties associated with various qualities of a person born on specific month and/or on specific zodiac sign.
