No, pulling out or last moment withdrawal method, is not at all reliable and most effective way to prevent pregnancy and it offers zero protection against sexually transmitted diseases. Moreover pre-ejaculate also contains sperm, and the same can be released into your vagina before he pulls out.

Despite the myths, IUDs are just as effective and safe for women who have never had kids before.

Your cervix normally feels like the tip of your nose.

I forgot to replace my ring or patch on the right day, should I use backup?
While the clinical trials have shown that you may have one or two days of leeway, the safest course of action is to use a backup method of birth control for seven days if you're more than a day late replacing your patch or ring. In case you already had unprotected sex use of emergency contraception is advisable

What should I do if the condom breaks or slips off inside me?
Take emergency contraception within 72 hours after intercourse to prevent unwanted pregnancy, check and remove any broken pieces of condom inside you with your fingers and washout your vagina with cold or lukewarm water. Lastly consult your doctor within a week to test for any STI (sexually transmitted infection) if you feel at risk.

I got yeast infection while using ring or an IUD, should I remove it?
Most of the Intra-vaginal medications that are used for treatment in yeast infection do not interact with the ring or IUD. If you're using a vaginal ring like NuvaRing, you need not take it out.
